Bilbao plans to bring Herrera back to his old place this summer. Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera, 31, has the opportunity to return to Athletic Bilbao in the coming weeks.

Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelino Garcia Toral is planning to bring 31-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera back to the club this summer. Around 12 million euros, according to Mundo Deportivo on Sunday. 

Herrera began his career at Real Zaragoza before moving home to Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2011. And then moving to Manchester United in the summer of 2014. Until moving to Paris Saint-Germain after the end of his contract with the Red Devils in the summer of 2019. 

According to reports, Herrera’s future is unclear after PSG signed a three-year contract with Georginho Wijnaldum. Who joined from Liverpool on a free transfer this summer. Letic Bilbao has held talks with the French side over a return to the 31-year-old, and Herrera is expected to move for around €12m in the coming weeks.
